Lichen or trouble.  My Rose of Sharon tree has a lot of  lichen on it and some of the branches are looking bad.  It may have to go!

Locust blooms – the locust trees around here are loaded with bloom.  The honeybees love them and so do I.

Salt flakes.  I bought these salt flakes to sprinkle on chocolate truffles that I made for Christmas.  They not only tasted good on the truffles, they made for an interesting macro shot.  Who would have thunk it?
